During the auditions, the candidates will be expected to sing:
1. Range test: one short exercice sung forte a cappella; on an open vowell, presenting the whole voice-range.
2. Sight reading: all applicants should record the melody as a sight reading: 1 minute to look it through and then recording at the first attempt in front of the jury. The singer must sing a cappella.
3. Prepared score: The candidate should record his/her part, the piano plays the other parts (singers should come with their piano accompanist). Please contact JM Spain Head Office to get this score.
4. Aria or Lied: of the candidate's choice. The candidate must present an aria, or a Lied with or without piano accompaniment, showing his/her best artistic and vocal abilities.
