The Concierto de Galardonados (Prize-winners’ Concert) is held in Madrid for the first-prize winners of the Concurso Permanente. The concert, with the Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE (Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra), gives prize-winners the opportunity to appear as soloists with a first class Spanish orchestra.
Each year JME invites internationally recognised conductors to conduct the concert, such as Franz-Paul Decker, Uwe Mund, Tamas Vásáry, Serge Baudo and Alexander Anissimov.
JME also organises a chamber music concert at the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid in which it invites one of the winners to an (EMCY) or Jenunesses Musicales International (JMI) concert.
Both concerts are broadcast on radio and television in Spain and Latin America. |
