WOLFRAM RIEGER LIED COURSE
Dates: 4.-8. December 2013
Master in piano accompaniment of the Lied , Wolfram Rieger is known worldwide for his performances with Juliane Banse , Barbara Bonney, Thomas Hampson , Thomas Quasthoff , Matthias Goerne ... and are multiple his concerts in Europe, Japan and the United States. Regularly teaches Masterclasses in Europe ( Berlin, Vienna , Tirol and Barcelona) and Japan . Since 1998 he is professor at the Musikhochschule Berlin in Lied Interpretation.
To register for the course must submit the following documents before November 15, 2013
- 50€ per person. Proof of payment of registration fees
- Registration form duly completed
- Photocopy of the DNI or passport
- Brief musical biography
- A recent passport-sized photograph
- Repertoire prepared for the course
- Recording on CD, DVD or mp3 in two different Lieder composers and character
Active students: singer / pianists alone: € 250
Duos (singer and pianist): 410 €
Listeners: € 90 (full course).
Ticket price as a listener for a session: 25 €
Those students, Esmuc, Liceu Conservatory of Music, Barcelona's Municipal Conservatory and Taller de Musics ESEM, who evidence of their student status from downtown and want to participate as listeners to the course may do so at no cost.
Registration fees must be paid before November 15, 2013 , in the Jeunesses Musicales account number 0182.0210.38 0201529949 Bank BBVA (Office Rambla, 38 08002 Barcelona). The rest of the registration fee will be paid in cash directly in Barcelona on Wednesday 18th.

Repertoire to be prepared for the course:
The students must prepare a minimum of 10 Lieder. Students (singers) should safely store all the Lieder repertoire, Lieder presented not unprepared. Each student must provide scores who wants to work during the course, with a copy to the teacher. In this edition of the course will be required to submit duets at least two Lieder by Schumann and two of R. Strauss. The rest of the repertoire presented is of free choice.
Auditions to participate as an active student:
Each duo will prepare and recording two distinctly and different character Lieder, and send in supports CD, DVD or mp3 (via e-mail), before 15. November 2013. Students who are not accepted may be incorporated as listeners. Be accepted up to ten active singers.
Scholarships and Awards
At the end of the course all participants (active and listeners) will receive a certificate of attendance and may be granted the following awards / scholarships to the best players:
"Scholarship Master class": the duo will go to the next edition of the Lied course free.
"JME Concert Prize in Spain": the duo will be included in the concert program of Jeunesses Musicales Spain. They will have all expenses paid but not receive any economic perception cache concept.
Wednesday, 4th: classes from 16:00 to 21:00 h
Thursday 5th to Saturday 7 th: daily classes.
Sunday 8th: Rehearsal and final concert at 11:30 h
Spanish, English, German.
Classes will be held at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya - Esmuc (C / Padilla, 155) Auditorium Building. They have rehearsal rooms for the students.
